How to save a picture received in text message

Use handcent for text messaging and can't seem to save a picture received to my gallery. Open text, press on pic, no option to save. Is there something else to do?

I use handcent on my RAZR HD, long press the image and it gives options to save to gallery. Hopes this helps.

Yup, long hold on the picture before opening the picture in the message. Long hold on the picture itself, not in the message field.

I was trying the long hold once the picture was opened. Tried the correct way and it works, of course. Thanks.
