How To Remove Widgets

just a little something the trash can mentioned above will appear at the bottom of the screen after the "bump" is felt.

Not sure the difference between a widget and an app, but I want to remove a few programs on the main menu of my droid (not the desktop seen when pressing the home button but the one seen when clicking the arrow at the bottom of the screen). I got a message that my screen was full - not sure if that means something will be removed to add another app. But on this other screen, I have several progams (like visual voicemail) that I want to remove. When I tried the hold option, it just put it on my main desktop and then allowed me to trash it, but it stayed on the other screen.

Thanks

The default apps in the app drawer cannot be removed without root, period.

If it is an app that you installed, then it remains in the drawer even though you may have created a desktop icon shortcut for it, again however if you have root access there may be away around this, but I do not have that solution.

so then what happens when I get the message that the screen (or drawer) is full after trying to download an app?

App drawer won't 'fill up'. The Home screen can however fill up. Just means you either need to remove an icon or widget to make room for the new one.... or just go to another screen :)

Ok not sure which screen is which. All I know is I simply downloaded the app and got that message - I didn't try to bring the app to the main screen (what I call the desktop). Thanks.
