How to remove safestrap 1.08

I was reading a lot before registering about finding a way to remove safestrap 1.08 and install 2.01 or later.I read that I must remove apk but in my system there is no safestrap apk .I am on Liberty rom but I want to try ICS roms.Please help.Thanks in advance.

You have to go into non safe mode and uninstall the app then install the new app

I cant see the app

I changed from safe to unsafe but I cant see safestrap.Where to look for the app.How it is called!

If you boot into the OS in non-safe mode you should see it in your apps list. It's just called Safestrap.

I went to normal rom but still...

Is it possible that safestrap was not installed by apk file!I just look for safestrap with rom toolbox on all apps and still cant find.If I isntalled it I wouldnt ask this question it was bought used from USA.Thank you .

It would have been originally installed by apk. You can do one of two things.

1. If you are still rooted in non-safe, you can reinstall the apk and remove it there, then uninstall the apk, or
2. There is an uninstall option from inside safestrap

UPDATE---

Ok, I see that I had to open the safestrap 3.05 app to install recovery.


Hello,

I was running safestrap 1.08

I toggled to NON-SAFE mode.

I booted up the stock, non-safe rom

I removed the Safestrap 1.08 application.

I then installed the Safestrap 3.05 for Droid3 apk file

I then rebooted.

Safestrap still shows up as 1.08 when I boot up into the non-safe rom, even though 3.05 is installed.


How do I fix this so I can boot up with safestrap 3.05?
