How to remove a large number of contacts from Google?

Apparently my gmail had a setting to save every email as a contact, so I now have about 950 google contacts, only about 75 of them being actual people I want in my phone.

Does anyone know of an easy way to remove all of these contacts? On the gmail site, it's a tedious process where you have to delete them one at a time, as far as I can tell.

Probably the easiest way to do it is at Gmail.com/contacts. Set up your 75 people as "My contacts." Then it will only show those on the phone.

Thanks. I actually found a program on the Market that worked for me, called Contact Cleaner. The two reviews for it were terrible, but it did exactly what I needed it to do.
