How to get the Droid X to push Gmail?

I have my Gmail set up the same way I did with my Droid, but it doesnt push mail.

It does push Yahoo & Hotmail. Am I doing something wrong??

Your saying you gmail isn't being pushed? That's weird.

I'd go to settings/accounts/and make sure sync gmail is checked.

There is no where to put a check. It just reads "Touch here to sync now" Seems like you have to do this yourself all the time! Anyway around this?

When you go to settings and accounts and pick your gmail account there should be three options to check sync contact sync gmail sync calender. Make sure they are all checked

Try installing the power control widget on one of your homescreens. Turn on its sync button and leave it there. This may fix your problem.

This what I did to fix mine, but for one other on this forum it didn't work.

Maybe take back phone if all else fails
