how to get slide to unlock back

I tried to root my phone with droidxroot.exe and my phone battery died in the middle of the process. I thought I bricked my phone. was not charging when plugged in to usb but when I plugged into he power supply It said green 0% battery life let it charge and went up to 20% well got the phone back up and running but I can not lock the phone when you wake the phone up. I dont know if it was a setting I hit in launcher pro or not. any help would be awsome
