How to fast foward music in player

Is there a way to fast foward music in the music player on the Droid Eris?
If not, is there an app that allows you too?

I am not sure if the Droid Eris music app is the same as the droid1 but if there is a little "progress bar" at the bottom just try swiping the spot to where you want to go...
