I have a DROID4. I selected the Photo app as the default for assigning pictures to contacts. Now I want to deselect it. I understand that I'm supposed to gogt to System settings > Apps > All . Then scroll down to Photo and deselect it as default. But Photo isn't there! When I just select Apps, Photo it there. Maybe there's soemthing special about Photo, or it has another name?

How do I deselect it as the default?

I suspect the app is called by some other name. Open a photo and tap its soft menu to find out what you're looking for. You're looking in the right place. When you do find it you want to clear cache and settings, then force stop and restart the phone.

You could also try Settings > Apps > Menu > Reset App Preferences. I think the Droid 4 has that option. I know my Bionic. That will reset all preferences though, if the option is available.
