how to delete ringtones

is there a way to delete some of the ringtones that come with the turbo More than half of then I don't use & never will
I would like to download some others

Don't think so, the "new" ones just add to the list. Ignore the poopers.

I agree. Those ringtones don't take up too much space so just add.

It's possible if you have root access, but other than that, no.

Best thing you can do, if you use zedge or another app to download ones you actually like, find the folder they're stored in and rename them to start with the letter A (numbers might work as well), since they display in alphabetical order.

For example, I use the "facebook_pop" ringtone for Facebook notifications. If I really wanted it higher on the list, renaming it to "a_facebook_pop" should work. Not sure that the _ are necessary.

You can just put a 1 before Facebook_pop to bring it to the top.
I use an app, Ringdroid to make my own from my music collection. You can also use it for any audio clip from movies, or whatever, to make noise ringtones/notifications should you prefer that over musical ones. I use red alert from the original star trek as a notification when my wife texts and a photon torpedo as my main text notification. They're good and loud for noisy environments.
