How to become Account Owner in Verizon Wireless Site

I've been trying to upgrade from my pervious phone to a Droid Incredible online but every time I try to upgrade or doing anything on the site such as purchasing I always get a message that says I have to be the account owner.

Does anyone know what to do so I can sign up or become the account owner?

You will most likely have to go to a store with the current account owner and get the account switched to your name.

I am trying to purchase the phone online on the verizon site.

My mom does but I also made a wireless account under her name but it still gives me the same response. smh...

My mom told me her password but she doesn't know where to sign in for that? Is it on the verizonwireless site or the community verizon site or w.e?
