How much time does yours take to turn the screen on when getting a call?

I think that since I rooted (DM 1.0), my screen takes longer to turn on when receiving a call. I always have my phone on vibrate, and the phone will vibrate for 2-3 seconds before the screen comes on. This is pretty annoying. Has anyone ever encountered this? Solution?

Are you messing with the clock settings? I have DroidMod, and I've never had any of these problems.

Clock settings? The actual time keeping clock? Or the speed?

I'm using Smoked Glass theme and I changed the clock color to white.

When the phone is active, I'm running it at 1GHz.

Clock like core clock and overclocking. So since you are, what's your min set to? If it's 125, you're slower than stock and will have delays coming out of sleep for phone calls. Bumping it back up to 250 (stock), should fix this.

Try doing a factory reset and battery pull. Is it possible you have other apps running in the background that are slowing the thing down?

Hopefully I won't have to do a hard reset. I'll wait to do that and see. I don't think it's an apps thing, but I just ended all apps and will have to look for the next call. I have to do battery pulls every so often anyway.

You shouldnt have to do this. I havent NEEDED to do a battery pull since I got the phone. This screams software problem. Let me know what happens.

Yeah, I'm wondering if it might have to do with rooting. What happens with that is that every once in a while, I'll try to wake up my Droid and it won't. It also won't turn completely off either, because I can't turn it back on until I do a battery pull. Don't know why it happens.

You should consider re-flashing your ROM. It sounds like something wonky happened and is causing problems.

Hmm.. I could give that a shot. Would you mind telling me what the steps in that would be? Is it as simple as just opening up the DM Updater and selecting it?

Yep, should be the same process as you did the first time. Open DMU, it'll tell you you already have the ROM downloaded, and then ask you if you want to flash to it. You can also go into SPRecovery and return to the image you made before you first used DMU.
