how loud is the droid compared to the iphone when its using its own speakers. the iphones speakers are decently loud for a phone, any1 know how loud droid is when playing from its speakers (not headphones, from phone itself)

does it sound as crisp and clear?

I suppose as crisp and clear as any mobile phone can be... if you are looking for great sound, don't expect it to come from any mobile phones speakers. That is why there is a 3.5mm jack. Hook that puppy up to your home stereo, or pc speakers

all phone speakers are going to sound like crap. Having said that when my car stereo stopped working the other day it wasnt utterly unbearable to have the phone at full volumne blasting out pandora. THere is 0 bass of course but its not excrutiating. It's loud enough to hear in my car which is a 1967 buick convertible with very poor seals and hence noisy while driving!

I'd like to know what the people asking are intending to do? You might want a little more power if it's a DJ gig. :D

Mine is AWESOME I am very impressed with the quailty. For what it is I find it GREAT. However just had a weird thing where the volume was so low for some reason and increasing the volume all the way didnt do anything i did a battery pull and it fixed it.

I had the original 2G iphone and the speaker was horrible couldn't use speakerphone or listen to music it just wasn't loud enough. The droid has much better speaker quality both volume and clarity compared to my iphone!!
