1) root phone... guides are everywhere, I will not elaborate more.
2) root explorer or file expert from market (or similar, there are quite a few)
3) navigate to system (/system)
4) mount folder
5) change file permissions of file to read and write
6) edit the file
7) change file permissions back
8) unmount (can just restart phone too since most changes will need a restart anyway)
Congrats? College never stopped me from geeking out my phone. No idea what that has to do with this thread... it seems like a lot to do, but when you do it once it goes by quick every time afterwards.
Edit: just noticed it was a bot... what's the point of these bots that say nothing of interest? They're not even spamming links...

Or grab a .prop editor off of xda. I have one that makes it about 10 times easier and you can save things in a seperate folder so you get to choose when you want them to be used.
