How do you uninstall an app?

I'm new to the Droid 4 and would like advice as to how to uninstall an app. Manual says navigate from Home Screen to PlayStore, then Menu key, My Apps, then select app, tap Uninstall and ok. However, I do not see "Uninstall." Any advice would be welcome.

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Choose App>Uninstall. However, if it's a system app then you won't be able to uninstall it.
