How do you set a contact pic for yourself on txt message?

I have my droid synced to facebook so all my contacts have a pic when i'm txting with them but when i send a txt it's just the default blank/android robot pic, is there a way to set a pic for myself or link it to my facebook?

I don't know if its the same but on my d2 there's a contact called me and the pic for that contact is the one that shows for me in messaging.

did you try to edit YOUR contact information and add a pic to the profile.

Just be aware that what you set only really applies on your device -- not your recipients'.

yes i realize that, thanks for the heads up though. there is no "me" or "my contact" info on the droid1 (or at least i can't find it)

anyone know how to do it on a droid1?

Are you using stock or Handcent?

Yeah with Handcent you can. Usually you can just click on your picture and it will have options. I recommend GoSMS though. I never thought I'd like anything more than Handcent but it's great

I believe with stock you have to add yourself to your contacts and add a picture. That's the only way I've found.
