How do you remove the bottom toolbar?

After finding my droid in the hands of my 7 year old, I find a transparent toolbar at the bottom of the screen. It consist of 3 boxes - Phone, Apps, Browser. I can no longer slide the screen up to see all of my apps. Now, I have to touch the middle box to pull them up. How do I get rid of it? I want to slide to get to my apps!

Weird question, if you go to settings > about phone, what build are you running? Also, got 5 home screens now? Because that sounds like stock Froyo rather than Eclair (aka your kid updated your phone for you).

Grats, you're on Froyo Unfortunately, the only way to change that bar (that I know of) is to use a home replacement (launcher pro, adw, ahome, etc).
