how do you put a clock widget on home screen ics

I got a clock widget app and can't figure out how to put it on home screen, i did it on gb, but havent figured it out on ics

Go to apps, and on the top there should be a tab saying widgets. Find the one you want and long press it. From there you should be able to place it where ever you want. Hope that helps!
