how do you port (transfer) iphone apps to andriod.

It's not a simple and straightforward process. You can't just take an iPhone app and transform it into an Android app. The source code needs to be taken and adapted -- just like migrating code from any platform to another.

If it was easy for the average user we wouldn't have threads asking when people's favorite iPhone apps would be available on Android.

Also, please don't post multiple threads on the same topic. You could have posted this question in your other thread on DS emulators.
 
You take the source code, rewrite it in java, then compile it for Android.

Yes, I am going to say this is not possible. Considering the framework that for each of the operating systems are nothing alike. Adrynalyne has this right.
