How Do You Get Pictures To Show Up In Gallery?

Ok i have dragged and droped pics to the root of the sd card i have used windows media player to sync them i used V cast media manger thing
i even put the pics in the same folder as pics i took with the camera and they still dont show up so.........:icon_evil::icon_evil::icon_evil:

I've done this same thing and its why I have a task killer. I kill the gallery after I put the pictures in and it usually loads when the app restarts. If not I just reboot.

The gallery re-scans your sd card each time you open it so "killing" it is pointless.
OP, try a reboot then open your gallery.

I thought it may be pointless but it **seemed** to work...although I was still unsure about it. Sucks that a reboot is the only way to get it to pick up on the new pictures

Are you trying to view the pictures in the Gallery while the phone is still plugged into your PC on USB Mass Storage Mode?

If so, the gallery cant access the card since the PC has actual control of the SD card...
