I did this and it removed all of my Facebook contacts and I resynced with Gmail. Now is there any way to get the pictures back?

I don't have the app currently installed but I'd always disable contacts sync in the Facebook app options first thing. Which app are you using?

I finally found the options in there. I was pressing the menu button from the news feed rather than from that screen with all of the other options (newsfeed, notifications, places, messages, etc).

Pardon my ignorance, I'm a little new at this thing.
