When I take a video it wont let me send it as a email attachment.why not?it keeps tellingme can't send attachment over 1gb....
Is there a way to take a video and send it as an email attachment?0

The video is too long and/or too high of resolution.

sending a 1gb video file thru email is kind of unheard of for a mobile device. not even sure if this can be done on a pc. i could be wrong. but the best bet would probably be to upload the video to a file host and just send the link.

So when I take a video and want to share it with people what is the best way to do this?
Im a stupid with a smartphone.lol

Lower the resolution and take a shorter video about 2 minutes like everyone has been saying. For texts there is an MMS option that limits videos to 30 seconds. I am not sure of what the resolution is though.

Make it easy on yourself and give your friends better quality...you tube.

The simple answer is this...if you take a video in the 720p HD setting, unless it is just seconds long...you will not be able to send it via text/MMS. Email attachement size varies based on the email application, so check which email service you are using to see what their attachment size is.

If you want to shoot a video and send it MMS, drop down the video resolution to either VGA or QVGA specs, and then you can go from 30-45 seconds via MMS.
