How Do I Send Ringtones To My HTC?

Hello Everyone,

Just got an HTC Droid Incredible late last night, and was wondering how I could get ringtones on it. I use myxer.com to make my songs into ringtones. But when I send it, it downloads, and then asks if I want to set it as my ringtone. Can I save it to my phone memory, and remove it from my downloads, or am I stuck having all my ringtones in the downloads folder?

I'm not 100 percent but after it downloads it should show up in android system as a ringtone.

Try going to settings > sounds > phone ringtone > android system
And see if your downloaded songs show up there.

What do you mean delete a song? Like you don't want the ringtone anymore?

When I set up my D1, I created a folder on the sdcard called media. Within that, I have video and audio. Within the audio there are two folders called ringtones and the other notifications. I put ringtones of mine and notification sounds I've created in to the appropriate folders.

Now when I go to set notification or ringtone to something, the phone includes those files as options in the android system.

Hope that works for you
