Just need to make sure you set up outlook to leave messages on the server. Just one box to click. Then everything that goes to outlook will still go to the droid.
My outlook polls several of my email accounts so I have set up an Outlook rule that sends all emails in my in box to my Googlemail account. One tip though, do not set it to poll Googlemail if you do this or you will have a never ending loop.
Much better if you can setup your droid with an imap account.
You might have a storage limit, that will cause issues if you leave copies.
You can also check leave copies, and delete after 10 days, or when deleted from outlook. Much easier to set up imap on your droid if possible.
Not many solutions for auto syncing cal and contacts w/o 3rd party apps.
Also, as a solution, you could set up your pop account to forward to a Gmail account, and then you'd have it all synchronized between web, phone, and Outlook (you can add the Gmail account as an IMAP a ccount in Outlook if you want)

I also set mine up this way. All email from my suddenlink account is directed to my gmail account and then on to me.
That being said, if you do use outlook then they need to make sure message are left on server. I believe you can also set up how many days they are left there.

Yeah..do make sure you check to remove them from the server or else you will pile up. I will eventually get rid of my suddenlink email all together, but for now I just forward them over to my gmail.
If your mail server has the ability to forward email directly to your gmail account wouldn't it be more efficient to do it the way I mentioned? I can see a number of potential pitfalls to forwarding from Outlook, but there may be advantages I'm overlooking.
