How do I keep an app from closing

I have a sony ericsson liveview and I have been having to reconnect the device. I believe that the problem lies in android closing the app to free memory is there a way to keep the app open unless I choose to close it myself? There isant an option in the stock task killer to do this. I am rooted using one click root. No custom rom yet. Any help would be awsome I like the liveview so far except for the connection problem. Thanks in advance

The first thing I would do is stop killing tasks. Remove everything from the stock task killer and don't use automatic task killers. That may fix your problem.

I don't even use the stock task manager. I only opened it to see if there was an ignore option and there isant. I don't use any other taskkiller as gingerbread dosent need it. I just need a way to stop the system from closing my liveview application.
