How do I install one of these kernels ( http://www.droidforums.net/forum/chevyno1/50643-get-yer-froyo-kernels-here-6-10-2010-a.html ) while running Buggless Beast froyo?

either rename it update.zip and install it by going to your recovery and applying update. Or go to ROM manager and use the install ROM from sd card and select that file.

Thanks, I asked because I tried doing what you said but I couldn't get it to work. But i just realized that i named the file "update.zip.zip" lol

Does chevy have a ULV and LV kernel taht is below 1ghz that is compatible with Froyo?

have no idea. Even with a 1ghz kernel you dont have to run your Droid at 1ghz.

Yeah I know, its just that my phone will not boot up unless the kernel is below 1ghz.

Maybe the problem is BB. I never tried a different rom.

Whats the next best froyo rom out now?

all of them seem to have the same issues, so im staying away until a more refined one comes out. BB seems to be the best choice right now, the lunar theme is also a popular one if you wanna try that one out.

or you can try one of P3's kernels. Ive been running his 1ghz, 1.2ghz, and currently his 1.1ghz kernel with fantastic results. Scratch that..i JUST went back to his 1.2ghz kernel...just in case i wanted to show off

true...but he also might be using his ULV kernel instead of the LV kernel. And it wont hurt to give P3's kernels a try

Ive tried all of the different voltages and nothing seems to work over 1ghz.
