How did we function before 4G???

I remember when 3G came out and we were all impressed by video streaming, rich text, html, etc. Now I'm tethering my laptop and getting 20mb downstream rates, downloading and installing apps in seconds, and browsing the web faster than my desktop at work. The difference is unreal. I cancelled my DSL line and I'm thinking about getting a converter box to stream Netflix to my TV. How are you guys taking advantage of the blazing speeds of 4G? B)

I was blown away when I went into a Verizon store last night and did a few speed tests (15-18mbps). It's ridiculous how fast this network is. I thought my home internet was fast @ 15mbps with Comcast!

Sadly I can only take advantage of it sporadically until late October to early November (supposedly). Though when I can, it is incredibly fast. Unfortunately it's not reliable enough to cancel my main internet line. Maybe in time...

3G was horrible for me, impossible to even stream a you tube video which takes a lot of purpose out of owning a smart phone - 4G has brought it to a level that should be the standard from this point forward

It was pretty bad for me, although in rare circumstances I was able to get online with my laptop via bluetooth tether. Only when the urgency of the situation merited the extra patience it required. Lol.

Yeah I hear ya... Fortunately it's solid in my area so I took the chance. I was only getting 6mb with DSL. Getting nearly 20 now. Nuts!!

Sorry to hear that... I'm fortunate to have 4G in my area and OMG, the speeds are sick! I'm connecting right now at 18mb dl and 5mb upload speeds!

Yea I'm in San Diego and get full bars of 4G pretty much everywhere except for my office which is a concrete building but I still get 2 bars. I average 22mbps down at work and 30mbps at home. Its ridiculous.
