how can the lick unlock sound on maxx lock screen slide be turned off

Is it possible to turn off then lock screen click when sliding to unlock?
Also can the lock screen be customized as my old maxx HD was able to slide the lock to phone directly now I have to click home and click phone which is an extra step

Settings, sound, screen lock sound.

You can slide to phone with custom launcher only.
