how bad does twidroid drain your battery?

right now i have it set on 2 hour update intervals. how much of a difference would it be if i changed it to 2 minute update intervals? like, i know it's gonna be different, but would i still be able to use my phone all day and charge it at night? or would it not last? i want near-instant updates, so i'm debating whether i should change twidroid to 2 minutes or just set up twitter through texting.

if you're on 2 hour updates now i would just play with it for a few days increasing the updates a little at a time. might start with 1hr or 30 min....
