Hotmail question

I was having poor quality phone use: dropped calls, weak signal where I previously did fine. Verizon would not address much unless I did a hard reset. So I did and now I am trying to put everything back the way it was.
I had it set so when I check and delete a Hotmail message on my phone, it still showed up on my PC. Now when I delete it on my phone it is also gone from the Hotmail server. How do I make this change? Is it in the phone or on my PC?

Which email client are you using, if K9 I know their is an option in settings on whether or not you want it deleted from the server also or not..

I figured it out. I went into my mail and in settings I unchecked "delete mail on server".
