Hotmail Does Not Push

For the past month or so my hotmail emails will not automatically show up. I have to hit the sync icon on the top right when I’m in my email app. Then they will show up. When I go to settings under data usage the "inbox checking frequency" is not highlighted for me to click on. I do not have any battery savers going. I even tried removing account and reading it. Anyone have any ideas?

Well hotmail doesn't really exist anymore, it got folded under outlook.com so that might have something to do with it.

I had the same problem with my AOL account. Instead of using the AOL option, I set it up as IMAP using the manual setup and now it syncs fine with automatic push.
