Hope I'm doing this right -- introduction

I've had my Droid Razr Maxx for about 30 hours now . . . still learning my way around. I've loaded MotoCast . . . and then uninstalled it on the phone and the computer, because I found another way I liked better. Planning to sit down with my husband today and get all his guidance and recommendations. He's had a Droid for a while, will probably be upgrading in the next 6 months. I just upgraded from a Blackberry. I'm totally NOT techno-savvy, but love having all that the technology offers, so I plod along.
