homescreen widget picture app

I have been looking for a widget or app that will display a picture that I choose on the homescreen (like picture frame widget) and when tapped it would run a program that I can choose. I use picture frame widget but it does nothing when it is tapped. I come from windows mobile that had this type of function built in. Is there anyway to do this?

i am pretty sure that "better cut" can do that...just depends on the program you want to run...i just got bc the other day and it seems very picky about what it will and won't do....not sure if this helps..but..give it a try..good luck.

Yeah I tried that but it did not do what I wanted it to do.

What WinMo phone did you do that with? I've had several different WinMo phones (5 to be exact) and never had that ability. (would be cool though)

I had a HCT 4600. "FUZE". Loved it till the droid came along....

That explains it... I never had a WinMo phone with TouchFlo (they were laggy enough without it). Probably means there is a widget that does it on the Eris... which means sooner or later somebody will come up with a widget with that functionality.

Yeah I had touch flo. Also WM 6.5 did it as well.
