home++

just installed this. it seems pretty cool. anyone know any tips or anything for it? :iphone:

Don't really know any good tips but I like it and solely use it. You can remove/add buttons on the lower bar through the settings. Add more screens for more room for widgets and such. Set which screen is the default screen (wish I found that one before setting up everything where I like it). Looks awesome with some of those high def wallpapers that people have put up here.

Use it for two weeks. Then uninstall it.

You'll be amazed at how much faster it will run afterwards.

Go to your default Home screen(s) and remove all widgets from them. It will speed up Home++ because your default Home app keeps running in the background, even when you are using Home++.

I agree with xliderider, after I removed everything off my default home app Home++ went WAY faster. The only problem is I usually get 1 to 3 force closes a day with Home++. It's not too bad but still annoying.

Tried using it several times but it didn't seem to play well with Widgets. Even when they were removed from the stock home screen. Wasn't impressed. All I actually wanted is the five screens and screen cap. I keep it installed just to use for screen caps when I feel the need.

Change icons with BetterCut. Home++ definitely runs better with no widgets on stock home screen. I thought i had deleted all the widgets on my stock home screens, started getting FC at least once a day. I went back to my stock home screens to check and had missed a widget. Since removing that one from the stock home screen, no more FC.

I used Home++ for months before I became fed up with all of the force closes and overall sluggish performance.

Its really interesting.......its the best homereplacemnt but after you have it for a while it begins for force close a lot i uninstalled it but its still the best

I used home++ for awhile, but it had way too many force closes...got sick of it, and went back to the base home for now.
