Home replacement?

What is a home replacemet app? Will it wipe out my other applications if I download it? Or will my phone act any differently?

It basically changes the way your home screens operate. It works on top of Blur-the stock home screen app. It won't uninstall any apps. I like Launcher Pro becuase you can have transition effects when you change screens. It also lets you add many more cool things Blur doesn't have. I think Launcher Pro and ADW are the top home screen replacement apps. If you decide you don't like them, just uninstall and your back to normal.
