Hold the Press! Flappy Birds is Coming Back to Android in August!! [Sarcasm Intended]

We know that each and everyone of you will be absolutely thrilled to find out this stunning news!!! The Flappy Birds creator has announced he will be bringing his game back to mobile devices! {Gasp! :icon_eek:}

According to the developer, Dong Nguyen, he plans to bring the game to Android (and iOS) in August. He also intends to add multiplayer to the game, while at the same time somehow making it "less addictive."

We honestly (no really... honestly) don't see how he can do that, as it didn't seem very addictive to us here at HQ to begin with. Of course, we recognize that there are some users out there who really love the game, so we won't poke fun at you. :icon_ poke:

You can resume your regularly scheduled programing now...

[In all seriousness, this is probably great news for the folks out there who are fans of the game. Of course, if he is making it less addictive, then it may not be as much "fun" as it was before, so we aren't sure what the point of re-releasing it is...]

Never played it. In fact I hadn't even heard of it until it was originally taken down by the creator. Still no interest in it.
