Ok, I know this virtual matchup is kind messed up since the Iowa was built 25 years after the Hood but looking at the hood specs, IT WAS VERY ADVANCED. Im going to remake history and say the hood got it's needed refit in a secret British drydock.
So, Boom: Calm seas, One newly refitted like new HMS Hood was travelling alone in the middle of the atlantic ocean. Then comes the brand spankin new USS Iowa (Also travelling alone). One ship says to the other, "YOU SUCK, Im better." Which ship is getting pwned?
in my oppinion i could be the hood becuase it's speed, but that Iowa sure packs a punch....
