Is there a way I can hide picture folders or at least access them with a password? I have over 1000 pics that pop up in the gallery and I don't really want to have 10 picture folders.

I'm also interested in any apps or feature that allows the user to set security on a photo album. I have one album that I don't want anyone to access but me. Thanks in advance.

You can hide a folder from the gallery app by placing a file in it named .nomedia (include the dot in front)

It's still visible to a file manager but the photo gallery will ignore it.

just create a 'new' file in the folder you want to hide. I usually make it a txt file

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
And then how do I find the folder when I DO want to look at it?
Sorry, I know these are dumb questions, I'm familiar with all of this stuff in Windows, just new to Android.
