I have videos for work that I moved to my sd card.. they are still showing in my gallery with the sd card icon in the bottom of the folder.. is there anyway to hide it from the gallery?

There are several apps in the market that do just that. Go to the play store & search something like "hide videos"

You can also make a folder on your SD to hide videos & pictures in. Name it whatever you'd like but be sure to put a period in front of the name. Example " .videos "

That's an easier option to setup, but it depends on whether you want to only hide them, or secure them. If you do the ".videos" trick, they won't show in the gallery, but anyone who opens a file explorer app on your phone will be able to find them. That's also how you'll have to navigate to them if you want to open them on the phone (a non-issue if you're just using the phone as external storage and opening the videos on your pc at work).

If you use an app, you can password protect them and the app will have its own handy gallery, so you simply put in the password and view your files.

It's up to you how you want to secure and access them.

If all you did was rename it, it's still there.

What did you use to rename it & what are you using to try and find it?

Your computer, or an app on the phone? If an app, which app?

Forgot to mention, you'll have to reboot before it'll show correctly with that method

Edit: In other words, the phone has to re-read(reboot) the SD before it recognizes the changes you made to it
