Hide Program Icons

Hello. Is there a way to hide some of the icons in the program grids in Android? I am running Froyo and I am rooted. Thanks

LauncherPro has this as an option, or you could uninstall the app.

Thanks. I can’t uninstall the apps because they are preinstalled carrier apps.

Thats one of the benefits of being rooted, you can uninstall bloatware. I wouldn't have mentioned it if you hadn't mentioned being rooted

Or instead of removing them just change the file letters. from .apk to .bak, they won't show up, however they are still there if you want them.
There are a lot of threads out about it.
Make sure you don't take something off that you needed.
