hidden contacts deleted after gb update

just updated the gb the other day and i noticed that my hidden contacts from froyo are gone. even if they are my facebook friend they still dont appear in my contacts when i have facebook contacts displayed. do i need to revert back to froyo and unhide them before updating again? please help!

i also noticed that there is no more hide contact option in gingerbread?

The only solution I've found is to install go contacts. It shows all of your contacts, even if there were hidden before.
