Hey everybody... I joined the site cause I have had the Motorola Droid since it came out and it has been pretty good.. The only issue that I have is that the light sensor doesnt always work and I end up hitting buttons on cause the screen doesnt go out.. Plus I am thinking of rooting the phone also.. If you know of a cure for the 1st one or there is already an open thread please paste the link.. Thanks

Welcome to the site. I am not sure about your issues, but root is a pretty simple process.

Have you always had the issue with the light sensor? Are you using a case/screen protector? The easiest way to root the D1 now is Super OneClick which can be found on www.theunlockr.com
