hey im new here tying to find out how to root a droid that already has 2.2

So im trying to figure out how to actually root my phone cause it has 2.2 rigth now and i have no idea what the process is to get it rooted, i know there is a thing called easyroot but i have no card to purchase it with so i was hoping to find out how to do it the old fashion way.

I would advise against one-click root apps btw...they've caused alot of issues for alot of users. Follow that guide to the letter and you'll be fine.

Welcome. You might want to wait till you have access to a CC. You will need a couple of apps from the market to ensure you root safely.

P.S.- I'm no mod but try and only post your question in one thread. Plenty of helpful people here, you'll get all the help you need without double posting.
