sync verses uploading information

The Google Calendar Sync is fantastic for syncing just the calendar. Your way of uploading contacts, however, does not truly sync them with the Fascinate. If you change the contacts in Outlook or on the Fascinate, they are not synced with each other.

Fortunately, there are a lot of sync solutions for Calendar and contacts. There are also solutions for tasks and notes. Some use Google's services and some use a USB or Wi-Fi connection. www.syncdroid.net keeps an up to date chart of the available software. A lot of it is free, but they list the paid software as well.

The Samsung solution is Kies, but as I understand it, this has not been officially released for US customers and can cause problems. Syncdroid talks about this as well.
