Flash stock rom or a custom....the d2g doesn't like the drop doen text messed with and that's the only thing i have seen posted to fix it....stock deodexed over stock shouldn't need a wipe i would think...just cache. Or choose your poison, angel rom works awesome.

sorry to keep bringing up my own post lol, but i was able to fix it, now i dont have the blinkng roaming indicator, and im running AngelRom 
and i love it
