Help With Razr Mirroring

Hey all. Question, has anyone tried, or can you, mirror the Droid Razr to a laptop with a VGA adapter to HDMI? I have a Dell Inspiron 1150, with a 15 pin VGA connection. I have found the adapter, but wanted to see if anyone has tried it before I buy it. Thanks Guys!
