Help with installing themes from Liberty toolbox

SWFLDroid

I just loaded the Liberty ROM 2.0.1 and would like to check out some of the different themes available in the Liberty toolbox. Could somebody help me with instructions of how to do so safely?

First, I would get on liberty gb. Just, way better.
If you want to stay on froyo, this is what I would do to be safe.
Dl the theme from the toolbox. Don't install it from there. Make sure you can easily find it on the sd. Back out and boot into clockwork. If you haven't messed with metamorph or other framework stuff, just mount system and data (mounts/storage) and flash (wipe cache if you bootloop).
If you have messed with metamorph or framework stuff, then you'll need to flash a copy of liberty on top of itself without wiping, before you install the theme

All in all, follow the directions in each themes respective thread

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize Liberty GB was ready for mass consumption. Where can I find correct directs to make that change from the ROM I just installed?

I like the Liberty version I am running so would like to play with it some and try out some of the themes (before trying GB ROM) but can't get them to install. They seem to download fine but then I get a message that Liberty Toolbox is not responding or has stopped and have to force close out.

Any suggestions?

Like I said, don't install them in the toolbox. Dl them there, then when it asks to install, cancel and exit out. Go into root explorer and locate the theme file and make sure it's easy to find. Manually boot into clockwork and mount data and system. Then install zip from sd. Find the theme and install. I would maybe wipe cache partition too before installing.

One other thing. Go into liberty settings and enable reboot in safe mode. Just in case

Will Astro file manager and Droid 2 Bootstrapper take the place of root explorer and clockwork? (Those are the ones I have installed)

Droid 2 bootstraper will taken you into clockwork. Just bootstrap recovery and reboot recovery.
Check your pm box now. You want root explorer!

I don't have clockwork either, is okay to go ahead and add it from the market now? (please forgive my ignorance, I can follow directions well but have little knowledge of the technical aspects involved)

You have clockwork. Its how you loaded liberty and made a backup! It's the screen with the green text. D2 bootstraper installs it.
