Help with default launcher

For some reason everytime I long press on something to move it around the lil highlight that tells you where its gona drop is off and as a result it will drop in the wrong place it also has created a dead zone? In the bottom right corner of the screen in which, if an item is placed there, it gets deleted from the home screen, heeeelllllppppp

I believe that's expected behavior on Blur... it's a feature. *nods convincingly*

You might have better luck with one of these tried-and-true launchers:
GO Launcher EX
LauncherPro
ADW.Launcher

I just want one with the capability of being the lowest memory consuming launcher (I dont need 7 screens n 10,000 Widgets)

Adw is the way to go, you can customize it to use almost no memory or turn on all the bells and whistles, make it super animated and it still won't take 50 MB, I believe (not sure) the stock launcher takes 75 MB.
