I was flashing a new rom when I got stuck in a bootloop. To make matters worse, my power button breaks in the middle of all of this.

Is there anyway to restore a nandroid backup or get into recovery without holding down my power button? I am using CWM recovery.

Also, since my phone was rooted, how would I go about replacing with Verizon. I really didnt want to use my upgrade right now.

Make sure the phone is off, a battery pull will do it, then you could press alt+shift+delete or plug it in to the a/c charger. Just be fast and hold the "X" button before it boots up.

Awesome, Thanks!! I sure appreciate the help. I thought I had to use the power+X button to enter recovery. I did as you said and hooked it up to AC charger, then held down just the X. Worked great!

I think I read something on here about maybe being able to remap your camera button to function as your power. I guess see if I can try that next.

Yes you can, but fortunately, I havent had to do that. Yet. I'm sure you could find it in a search, though.
