I bricked my DROID 3 while installing Cyanogenmod 10 through Clockworkmod recovery. I cannot charge my phone, I can boot into android recovery, and I can get to the boot mode selection menu. I don't want to have to buy anything or splice any cables, does anybody have any ideas? By the way, my phone is out of warranty.

well if you used safe strap you would have been ok
don't think anything can be done other flash SBF
and you can't do that if battery is too low

does sbf flash mode say low battery?

Yes it does. I've even tried leaving my phone plugged in all night.

because it requires a working operating system to charge
it's a poor design
