help on hard reset! (droid 2 global)

well i follow the steps of doing the hard reset. I turn it off, then holding X and power it up while holding X then a triangle will appear it did for me, then after that you slide the window back down then holding volume up then pressing camera button at the same time. which i did the after that i dong get nothing popping out or at least a menu screen please, please help me

The x key on the keyboard. I see you have an Eris. You're in the wrong forum. I believe on the eris you hold power and the volume down key (or both volume keys?) to get into recovery.

No, you hold 'X,' and when you get to the 'triangle,' you press the magnifying glass.

Clarifying: the magnifying glass button would be the one on the hard keyboard. Not the soft button on the digitizer (glass).

heres the fix

when up volume and camera dont work / and also search buttom desn't work.

• press both volume up and down only and together
• use volume keys up and down to scroll
• use power key to select
